Fortnite – Completing the Rippley vs. Sludge Challenges

In order to complete the Rippley vs Sludge challenges, there are several tasks that you need to complete. So, if you want these features to appear in the Fortnite Item Shop, then read on to see which of the challenges you will need to finish to make the most out of these characters.

The challenges mainly revolve around the use of fishing, swimming as well as utilising the SLURP containers that you find. With that in mind, you probably already have an idea of what the Fortnite skin is going to look like. Your goal is likely to be getting the purple variant of this Fortnite skin, so firstly you are going to need to get to tier 50 of the Battle Pass.

Scavenger Medals and Accolades

Firstly, you’ll need to earn Gold Scavenger Medals. You can do this by searching llamas, chests and supply drops. You will have to do this within the same match, and so with that in mind just loot as much as you possibly can. You are going to need three overall which is to be a common theme with all of the other Fortnite items that you need to find.

Once you have these medals, you are then going to need to get the AR Specialist Accolades across different matches. To do so, get yourself an assault rifle. Then you will have to dish out at least 250 damage with it in order to beat the challenge.

Landing in Named Locations

Of course, this can be done in different matches, as you can’t be expected to land in all of the locations at once. It may be pretty self-explanatory, but the idea is to land at areas on the map that have names on them, such as Lazy Lake, Retail Row and so on.

Using Traps and Destroying SLURPS

The next challenge involves using Traps. To do this, you are going to need to use a Spike Trap. You will have to cause damage using the trap on your opponent. You should take into account that the best place for you to lay one is on a low ceiling, so when your enemy enters the building, they’re in for a nasty surprise.

Another challenge you can tick off can be done by destroying SLURP Barrels, Trucks and Silos. You will need to destroy 10 in total, but you shouldn’t be short on choice of how many you can find.

Swimming and Motorboats

We are heading for the water now with the next couple of challenges. First off, you need to swim 50m in less than 5 seconds. You can help yourself with this by taking a running jump and hitting the jump button once you land in the water.

Speaking of water, its time to find a Motorboat. You will then have to go to both Lazy Lake and Slurpy Swamp in order to finish the challenge, and it has to be done in the same match.

Elimination Locations

There is also a challenge where you have to go to Fortnite Landmarks and eliminate five of your opponents. The locations include Fort Crumpet, which is in grid A3. Then there’s Hydro 16 in D7, then finally Risky Reels in E3. If you want to do this the easy way, then Team Rumble might be the way to go.

Fishing

To finish off the Rippley vs. Sludge challenges, we are off to go fishing. You are going to have to find fishing spots and catch a fish with a Fishing Rod, a Harpoon Gun and an Explosive Fortnite Weapon to complete it.

There is a wealth of different skins to obtain in Fortnite, and the Rippley vs. Sludge skin is a pretty special one to obtain. With that being said, keep an eye on challenges that unlock Fortnite skins and cosmetics in Fortnite. This will give you the opportunity to get your hands on some unique Fortnite items that will have you looking fresh on the battlefield, and stand out from the crowd.
